There are many believable things on the internet just do not believe them all as they are fictional.
Here are a few common ones we have listed below so you can get to know what not to do
- Avoid sucking out the snake venom
One of the most common myths is to suck the snake’s poison out when you are bitten by a venomous snake. Do not attempt this action as you can sallow the venomous snake’s poison while sucking it out, and this can cause a huge problem. Often, snakes don’t release venom when they bite, so no need to worry and try to avoid getting bitten in the first place.
- Avoid tilting your head during a nosebleed
In many tv shows and movies, it is shown that when a character gets into a fight and gets pushed or ends up in an accident and gets a nose bleed, they immediately tilt their head back. Do not do this as the medical says that it forces the blood to go backward forcefully and go down your throat. The better advice is to move your head slightly forward and stop the nose bleed by tissue or a handkerchief.
- It is never that quick in a laboratory
In many shows, we find that the evidence found a few seconds ago is sent off to the laboratory and has been processed and can now help take the case to the next step of identifying the culprit. This is false as it takes a week for the laboratory to identify the clues from the evidence found, and it takes weeks and even months to solve a case.
- Fingerprints are not foolproof
We often see in crime that the police have solved its case by examining the fingerprint on the murder weapon or a piece of furniture and identifying the culprit. Everyone in the world has a different fingerprint; however, the fingerprint can not be examined every time it is found in 20% of the cases. The person ends up being misidentified.
- Is tracking the call a time taking task?
One of the most common Myths shown on TV is putting the kidnapper on the phone longer to track their location through the call. This is false as a call can be tracked immediately. If someone calls from a landline or a phone, the carrier will know immediately as it can’t be hidden from the phone company. It might give you the notification as unavailable, but the phone company will always know where it is coming from. So, in conclusion, do not kidnap someone as you can be easily be tracked and traced by your phone company.
