5 Myths Related To Branded Entertainment

Anne Sergi

Everyone is in a different field. That is why we like to make misconceptions and assumptions about other areas, and today, we are talking about the most common misconceptions about branded entertainment. The field of branded entertainment is an art and work of science to figure out but myths related to it make it difficult to enter and work in the field.

Read below the 5 famous myths related to branded entertainment.

  • The brand should be aligned in the center

If you want to sell something to your clients or customers, make sure you have good branded entertainment first. Many advertisers and marketers don’t understand that if you’re going to sell a product, you need good entertainment with a good product message for your audience and viewers since most buyers are more likely to purchase or buy a product with good quality branded entertainment.

  • Getting famous stars will decrease the budget

Content creators or producers should not assume that hiring famous people to star in branded entertainment will be expensive or cost too much money. Most of the agencies have departments to look for ways and ideas to attract the audience on the internet to their videos.

  • Famous celebrity means success

Many videos are uploaded on the internet every day, and most of those videos include famous stars. Many people think that just because a celebrity is included in your video, it will go viral. This is false as you never know which video will go viral, leading to more success and taking the internet by a storm.

  • More funding means more success

Having significant funding for your videos or content doesn’t mean your branded campaign will reach your specific goal. Instead, you might not get the desired views, so instead, always go with less quantity than making several episodes about your branded content. It is better to make five videos on a specific topic of your content rather than making 15 videos on it.

  • Web metrics are more effective than TV metrics

The internet has different rules when it comes to the branded entertainment campaign than TV. The internet might bring in more clients and customers, but the people are still not stratified with its brand metrics, whereas TV is a established and developed branded metric system. The TV has been around for a long time and still is more effective than the internet.
